As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Frankfort, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. You will be expected to carry a firearm as part of your duties, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. In addition to your patrol responsibilities, you will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with company and location-specific guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
