As a Security Professional - Bank Patrol in Los Altos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with both the public and your team. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of policy.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Remain alert and observant while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
