As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will be entrusted with upholding the highest standards of professionalism while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors. You will also be responsible for access control and responding promptly to any security-related concerns, all while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas within the facility.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
• Operate security-related equipment and communication devices as required for the post profile.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent qualification. This requirement may be completed post hire.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or more years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
