As a Security Guard - Unarmed CRE Patrol in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, communicate clearly with team members, and uphold the values of Allied Universal by acting with integrity and fostering a people-first, team-oriented culture. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
