As a Security Officer - Defense Dispatch in Broomfield, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and coordinating communications, managing access control, and assisting with badge procedures to help maintain a secure atmosphere. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to document activities and relay important information, contributing to the smooth flow of operations. This is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will help to deter incidents and foster a welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications for security-related incidents and activities within the location, maintaining clear and accurate records of all calls and responses.
  • Dispatch security personnel to specific areas as needed, based on reports of incidents or requests for assistance.
  • Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, and responding to inquiries from staff and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Assist in maintaining logs and documentation related to security-related activities, incidents, and dispatch operations.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and on-site teams to relay important information and updates as required.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with field personnel and tracking their status throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred for positions that primarily involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
