As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring alarm panels, coordinating communication, and dispatching resources as needed. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a strong presence in the control center, responding promptly to incidents, and providing clear, professional communication to both team members and visitors. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with a high level of professionalism and integrity. You will help to deter incidents through your attention to detail and commitment to Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate communications for security-related incidents and/or emergencies within the location, utilizing dispatch systems and protocols.
• Receive and document calls for service, dispatching security personnel as needed to respond to incidents and/or requests for assistance.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications, incidents, and activities in the dispatch log.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
• Support Allied Universal security personnel by relaying critical information and coordinating response efforts during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through timely communication and coordination.
• Participate in regular training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response activities as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
