As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, managing visitor and resident check-ins, and responding to security-related incidents as they arise. You will help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible and attentive presence at the front desk, while also utilizing alarm panels and access control systems as needed. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will interact regularly with residents, guests, and property management. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the residential location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address inquiries and/or concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
• Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
