As a Security Officer - Tech Screener Patrol in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within the tech, media, and telecom sector.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
