As a Security Professional - Tech Site Screener in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting security-related screenings to help to deter potential incidents. You will remain highly visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within the tech, media, and telecom sector.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while on post.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
