As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with individuals throughout the location, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and observe for unusual activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel while maintaining a visible presence at screening checkpoints.
• Support site operations by assisting with access control, visitor management, and adherence to location-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
