As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a healthcare location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all who enter the facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors, patients, and staff with professionalism and empathy. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will help to promote a secure atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Provide customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, working collaboratively with healthcare staff and first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
