As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. You will be the first point of contact for many guests, offering assistance and clear communication while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation that define Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols during incidents or evacuations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
