As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Full Time in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and managing badge systems to help to deter unauthorized entry. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to alarms or unusual activity. This position also involves using computer or tablet systems to document incidents and communicate with team members. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and policies as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and/or visitors in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
