As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol in Odessa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be highly visible, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors alike. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activities as required by site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to provide assistance and information to residents, guests, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
