Job Description


As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol in Rockingham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, monitoring access points, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to various situations as they arise. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of protocols.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state the job is located in.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
