As a Armed Elite Security Officer - Mall Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have one of the following:
• Minimun of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or correction experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Armed Security experience
• Or current employment with Allied Universal with 4 years of Armed experience
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Must have a Level III armed certification if required by Texas state law.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements if the position involves driving.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
