As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to act with professionalism and integrity while operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and customers, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related situation that may arise within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have one of the following:
• Minimun of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or correction experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Armed Security experience
• Or current employment with Allied Universal with 4 years of Armed experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III armed certification for Texas.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
