As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Hookerton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. In this armed and driving post, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring for unusual activity, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or violations of site policies.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Follow all site-specific and Allied Universal protocols for armed personnel, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
