As a Unarmed Security Professional - Government Site in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a valued team member with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a government location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position may require driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
