As a Security Professional - Distribution Patrol in Elgin, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a food and beverage production location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with both team members and site staff. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the premises of the food and beverage location for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with site personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
