As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail distribution location. Your primary responsibilities will focus on access control, where you will monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized activity. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence at access points.
• Support Allied Universal and client management with security-related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
