As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
