As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in supporting a healthcare location by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for Allied Universal management and client review.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
