As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting the logistics and distribution environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and partners. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the flow of operations.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
