As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol in Farmington, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and interact with team members. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the financial institution environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
