As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to monitor entry and exit activity, respond to inquiries, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable interacting with people, have experience in customer service, and are interested in supporting a high-profile environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any security-related incidents.
  • Communicate professionally with staff and guests, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and prompt reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
