As a Security Guard - Unarmed Healthcare in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control and badge procedures, and responding to various situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies to support a secure and orderly environment.
• Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support emergency response efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
