As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent food and beverage location. In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will also be responsible for monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, agile, and committed to acting with integrity while working collaboratively with others. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the job state.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
