As a Security Officer - Access Control in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at a prominent food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
