As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team in the food and beverage industry, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures.
• Document and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
