As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Bradley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires you to be armed and may involve driving responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the utility location and report findings as required.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
