As a Security Professional - Front Desk in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a government location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with security-related inquiries, all while delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in helping to deter incidents through your presence and professionalism. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communicating with relevant personnel and first responders.
  • Answer questions and provide information to visitors and employees regarding building policies and procedures.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
