As a Security Professional - Armed Overnight - Front Desk in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and clients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism and composure. This is an armed post, requiring a valid armed guard card/license and at least six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience. You will play a key role in helping to deter unauthorized access and providing exceptional customer service, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous first point of contact.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and any security-related incidents.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding any unusual activity or concerns.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions or information as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
