As a Security Officer - Media Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a leading technology location. In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
