As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret 

                 $29.72 / Hour - Top Secret after Vetting 

                  $39.75 / Hour - Yankee White after Vetting 

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting any suspicious behavior.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following established communication procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness for emergency response situations specific to aerospace and defense environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• Applicants must have an active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
