As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors in a tech, media, or telecom environment.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
