As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Facility in STERLING HEIGHTS, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for access control, badge verification, and responding to any security-related concerns that arise during your shift. This position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the aerospace and defense environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
