As a Security Professional - Access Control in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position offers the opportunity to interact with a variety of individuals while utilizing your experience with alarm panels, access control systems, and technology such as computers or tablets. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
