As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will interact with visitors, staff, and customers, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires you to be armed and to meet all armed certification requirements. If you meet the driving requirements, you may also be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Work closely with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and staff.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents that may arise within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Active Texas Armed Security License in hand 
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
