As a Security Guard Government Patrol in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a member of our team, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a positive experience for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while representing the security team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alabama Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
