As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will focus on access control, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
• Assist with visitor management, including verifying credentials and issuing access badges as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
