As a Cleared Security Professional - Flex in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an unarmed flex officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with personnel, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires driving as part of your patrol duties. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in all interactions.

Position Type: Flexible (Day / Swing / Overnight)

Pay Rate: $31.25 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and other personnel while performing duties in an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense, "Secret" clearance level is required.
• 1 - 2 years of security-related experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
