As a Security Professional – Manufacturing Patrol in Fernley, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Observe for any unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Nevada Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred for positions that primarily involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
