As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Berkeley Heights, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by responding to situations as they arise and supporting the needs of the location. If the post requires driving, a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is required.
• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
