As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Weekends in Tar Heel, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This role requires agility and reliability as you support the overall security-related needs of the location.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Communicate with site staff and management to relay important information and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
