Job Description

As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves providing excellent customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving may be part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and guests in a professional manner, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any potential issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
