Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Utility Patrols in Bradley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an armed patrol officer at this utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires driving as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. The working environment and conditions may vary depending on the location.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Florida Armed Security Professional License is required.
  • Armed designation is required for this role.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
