Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Dispatch in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Dispatch Officer at this retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the company's values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or potential issues.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and management regarding incidents, concerns, or requests for assistance.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
