As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Annapolis, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at this retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or situations that may require attention.
• Assist in helping to deter unwanted behavior or incidents through a visible presence and professional conduct.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
• Support access control measures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and local authorities when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have a valid driver's license in accordance with AU driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
