As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Millbrae, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at this cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible to guests and staff. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining open communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by responding to inquiries and supporting the needs of visitors and employees. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the cultural institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Interact with guests and employees to offer assistance and information, contributing to a welcoming environment.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Follow all protocols and instructions specific to the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
